"It's too COLD for electric busses" and wind turbines etc.

The plan is to destroy the West with the energy madness.

""Green" energy is a scam. It's not supposed to work.

…In truth, the sustainable green energy enslavement network is a fraud from top to bottom. But it is not simply a pipe dream sold to a gullible and ignorant public. It's even worse. It is a carefully crafted lie designed to lead us into our new role as serfs on the neo-feudal plantation in the coming green dystopia." — https://ogy.de/5qa8

"At a news conference last week in Brussels, Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of U.N.'s Framework Convention on Climate Change, admitted that the goal of environmental activists is not to save the world from ecological calamity but to destroy capitalism.

"This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution," she said. Referring to a new international treaty environmentalists hope will be adopted at the Paris climate change conference later this year, she added: "This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history.”

You are RiGHT!!! The U.N. Charter is to DESTROY the U.S and Our Freedoms in exchange for the ECO CLIMATE CHANGE TERRORISTS Agenda.

Don't be silly.

It isn't the likes of Bezos and Musk that will suffer, is it?

Tell me, how many people did Socialism - the religion without a god that killed over 200 million OF ITS OWN PEOPLE in the twentieth century - raise out of poverty?

Despite the massive increase in population over the last century there are proportionally far less poor and hungry than there have ever been in all of World history.

You can't make the poor rich by making the rich poor, it doesn't work like that.

You must be retired since you cannot go very far on one charge if you were in a sales position and when the wind doesn't blow in the winter you must have battery powered heat???

Well said! "Maybe they would work better if we had more global warming". The growing inanities and tyrannies we witness daily are enough to drive one mad if not viewed philosophically.

We live in Wyoming with wind power. In some places it makes sense to supplement oil/gas.

If our present political Regime in the U.S. would allow drilling, the U.S. would be an exporter of oil products which would lower the world price of oil to affordable levels!!!

Oil is unaffordable? Maybe make more money peasant

Sooooo diesel runs the Scotty wind mills now? And of course any man worth his salt knows the world runs on diesel!

I live in a wind turbine zone. Mid Columbia River gorge. Literally thousand dot the Oregon desert

And Washington hills.

Pick up client who just so happens to live close

To these wind turbines, his power just went up

$300 dollars/month.

Wind turbines and electric buses are like cats. Don’t like the cold weather and are temperamental

With special government subsidies that make this scam and their performance comical.

Yet that our money 💰 they are throwing at green energy.

While China India will still burn coal and the rest of the green net zero pompous lying cheating scamming idiots go green. Absurdity at its pinnacle.

The climate IS changing - in cycles a thousand years long. A thousand years ago, at the peak of the last cycle, the Vikings had dairy farms on Greenland. A thousand years before that, the Romans grew wine grapes - in London. For us, the next change is likely to be colder, but the "environmentalists" are too focused on warming to understand that cycles change, so they've been planning for heat, and that isn't what's happening now.

need to get politicians and Greta there to talk about green power. Maybe all that hot air will defrost them a bit. Madness

With more global warming we could farm Russia and Canada, the biggest countries. But you know we're not really about all that. Libs don't care about farming, saving the whales and wildlife, green energy & ending child labor. They only want to disrupt, depopulate and create the abiding workforce they need for their "utopia." That's why the middle class is enemy.

Enough wind turbines/generators and the bird populations will disappear.

Another unreported problem with electric cars is that they wear out tires twice as fast as a gas car do the excessive weight from the batteries. I can imagine that busses must weight several tons more with electric batteries. The ECO Climate Change Terrorists must be stopped!!!

I voted no but there should be a third choice. SOMEtimes in SOME windy places it might be appropriate.

You are right but....the cost to erect, maintain and connect to an existing grid to supply sporadic electricity that is supplied by coal, gas and nuclear power lines, must be taken into account to compare any 'savings' on a 10 to 20 year averaging.

This has always been clear to anyone who knows how weather works. Extreme cold and extreme heat occur when high pressure is in control, which means no wind. Wind happens at times of transition, which are usually moderate temperatures. A cooler spell in summer is windy, and a warmer spell in winter is windy.

Renewables Technology is subjects to the same laws of science as other energy systems. And as such, they will experience break down when exposure to temperature, especially cold. Another aspect that the people in charge overlooked. Cold weather drains batteries, changes the viscosity of fluids, reduces conductivity of materials for electricity, etc. Infrastructure and the people of the State of Alaska experiences this all the time. The large why fossil fuels when out every time is because thermal plants & ICE produce heat. Our energy systems are based on thermodynamics-the relationship between heat, work, temperature, & energy. We can not forget that. Which is a primary reason why wind & solar would not work, especially in cold weather.

Think of most countries in cold climates, they are either powered by nuclear, hydro, or FOSSIL FUELS, namely coal & natural gas.
