In feminist Sweden, women get fined for carrying pepper spray

Welcome to Sweden.

Did you know that Sweden has the world's first self declared "feminist government"? Yes, that is correct. The current Socialist government has declared themselves as such. So you would think that perhaps they care about women? Well, let's take a look.

I just came across an unbelievable story that just took place in my home country. As you might know if you have read my Substack, Sweden has a rape crisis. A shocking 42 936 reported rapes in just the last 5 years alone.

It should come as no surprise then that many women are afraid of walking the streets of Sweden. What a sad statement. Just some 20 years ago that statement would be unthinkable. Sweden used to be safe.

Women feel unsafe in Sweden.

A whopping 47% of women in Örebro municipality report that they avoid going out alone in the evening. And this is understandable considering that on average last year, over 26 women were raped in Sweden every single day.

So, some women in Sweden want to be able to defend themselves in case they are attacked. Which is what 19 year old Filippa did. She had a pepper spray in her purse so she could feel safe. But it was discovered by police...and now she has been convicted of weapons crime!

You see, in Sweden, pepper spray and tear gas is regulated by weapons law, meaning that you need to get permission from the police in order to be allowed to carry pepper spray.

"The granting of permission is very restrictive" the Swedish police write on their website.

Which is exactly what happened to Filippa. She didn't have permission for the pepper spray and was convicted and given fines for breaking the weapons law.

Swedish “no-go zones”.

As I wrote about in an earlier article, Sweden now has 61 "no-go zones" where gang crimes is running rampant. One of this areas are Gottsunda which is considered such a bad area it is considered a "particularly vulnerable area" which means that police are unable to do their job there in upholding the law.

This no-go zone is located in the city of Uppsala, which is in the same area that this woman who was caught with pepper spray is from.

In fact, Gottsunda is such a bad area that there are parallel societies forming there. When the newspaper Expressen visited this area, local citizens told them that they don't go out at night because they are afraid.

Sweden now has the highest rate of deaths by shooting in all of Europe. Sweden also has the highest number of rapes in Europe, even one of the highest in the entire world.

Criminals are walking the streets ignoring the weapon laws, not only with guns, but also with explosives. As I wrote about earlier, Sweden has had a whopping 997 reported bombings (including attempted and planned) in the last 5 years. They are walking around throwing handgrenades!

In some of these no-go zones it has even been reported that men are patrolling the streets to ensure that the women adhere to a strict dress code, and those who don't have been spat at.

It has been reported that around 40 000 women living in Sweden are genitally mutilated, of which 7 000 are under 18 years old. This was all the way back in 2016, so the figure today is likely higher.

Wait, what happened to the worlds first feminist government here? Surely this kind of thing should be a priority for the feminist government?

Swedish feminism.

Ooops, my bad. In Stockholm they came up with the genius idea of "feminist snow plow". This meant that roads for cars were less prioritized and bike/walk lanes were higher prioritized for snowplowing. The reason? Women used the bike/walk lanes more and to be a true feminist, you then have to prioritize these when plowing the snow. The roads, which are used more by men, they say, got less priority. This went about as well as you could guess, with cars getting stuck because the roads weren't properly cleared of snow. That's feminism!

Meanwhile women who are feeling unsafe in this world of increasing crime in Sweden, are getting arrested for the crime of carrying pepper spray in self defense because you need permission. This is beyond insane.

So in Sweden we have many "no-go zones" where police are unable to uphold the law. Criminals are walking the streets with guns and handgrenades. Meanwhile young women are getting fined for the crime of carrying pepper spray without permission.

Perhaps the police should do more to tackle the reason she was carrying the pepper spray in the first place?

Meanwhile in neighboring Denmark it is legal to carry pepper spray. Perhaps they have seen what is going on in Sweden and don't like what they see.
