I remain very suspicious with respect to the sudden dropping of mandates, including in Ontario, Canada. Alas, my daughter in Ontario remains banned from her university campus, as do I from my college campus, at least until April. My husband is a federal worker, and still on leave w/o pay. I want to hope the "over-lords" have come to their senses, but it has all been so coordinated (once again).
I hardly imagine the Italian Government completely dismiss the “Green Pass” infrastructure. They will suspend for few summer months, to reintroduce it even stronger later on…😔
Covid didn’t perform as they expected especially with Omicron. They are preparing something more fetal in the background. Otherwise why work on a pandemic treaty that would supersede national juristictions, why work on so called “misinformation” laws? Check the vaccine patents. You can see what is in their pipeline.
Just wait for the next “deadly” variant or Heaven forbid, next flu season….they’ll try to implement restrictions again. They just might find it’s much harder to implement next time around, though!
As an Italian, I'm skeptical this is the end. I don't believe they are going to completely scrap this nonsense but I pray to our Lord sanity returns and medical fascismo dies forever.
They are not scrapping however the mandatory vax for over 50, health workers,etc. it’s only a token gesture to appease people and make the country palatable for sumner tourism. Draghi has stated the measures are just paused. Nothing to rejoice about
What about entry as a tourist from outside the eu? Are they scrapping that requirement to be vaccinated within the last 270 days? (I’m 2 and done and have good money to spend in Mediterranean Europe this summer season but have only had Turkey as an option)
